The Nike Air Barrage is a training sneaker that initially debuted in 1995. Constructed with a synthetic upper, they also feature a layered design, prominent adjustable midfoot strap, rope laces, heel pull tab, and a chunky sole. First worn by the great Marshall Faulk back in 1995.
One of 2022’s more surprise re-issues looks to spill over some residual excitement into the new year as a first look at the Nike Air Barrage Low emerges. This 1996 model, remembered for its audacious branding on the midsole and tucked-in Swoosh, existed as a Low-cut model sans-strap. Maintaining the layered leather-over-mesh that was the predominant method of construction of that era, this turf trainer was a popular lifestyle choice – most notably in its white, black, and teal green colorway.
